Stephen D. Rioux, MD Pediatric and Young Adult Neurology
Dr. Rioux is Director of the Pediatric Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic at Maine Medical Center. He specializes in the neurological diseases and behavioral problems of infants, children and adolescents.
Dr. Rioux graduated from Stonehill College in North Easton, MA, and the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 1979. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at University of Wisconsin Hospitals in Madison. He completed a fellowship in pediatrics at Barnes Hospital and St. Louis Children's Hospital in 1985 and a fellowship in neuromuscular disease at Washington University, Jerry Lewis Neuromuscular Research Center in 1986.
Dr. Rioux is Clinical Instructor of Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics of University of Vermont College of Medicine at Maine Medical Center.
Dr. Rioux is board certified in neurology with special qualifications in child neurology.
